How they met: “Through our friend John,” says Claudia.“John and I had plans to meet, and he was hanging at Dave's place so he told me to just drop by.”
Engagement story: “It was his 26th birthday and we were watching the Raptors game,” Claudia remembers. “I poured us a glass of wine and made a cheesy toast about wanting to be there on his 36th and 46th birthdays, then he interrupted me, went and got a red box (the box his mother's wedding ring was in!) and just handed it to me without a word!” she says. “I wasn't sure if it was a proposal or not! (her ring is a vintage piece with three flowers). Then he said,‘You know how much I want to marry you’ and that was that!”
