From Runway to Royalty
Ten designer dresses that would be perfect picks for Kate Middleton. By Nicole Keen

Kate Middleton will likely wear a British designer for her trip down the aisle, but that can’t stop us from dreaming, right? We spotted several styles in the Fall 2011 runway collections that would be perfect for a modern-day princess. Kate’s a stylish young lady—exhibit A: the navy Issa dress she sported to announce her engagement—and we’re certain she’ll express her personality on the big day, too. One thing’s for sure: whatever she chooses to wear will be one for the bridal fashion history books!
Spotted: Platinum Fall 2011
Why it’s perfect for Kate: This exquisite gown is elegant and demure—reminiscent of a modern-day Grace Kelly (who just so happens to be one of the greatest princess brides of all time!). Kate’s willowy figure would be perfection in this fitted mermaid silhouette.
