The Royal Couple: Prince Albert & Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon
When: April 26, 1923
Wedding Details: On her way to Westminster Abbey, where the pair wed, Elizabeth lay down her bouquet at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, a gesture that every subsequent royal bride has followed. Elizabeth also had eight bridesmaids and wore a gown designed by Madame Handley Seymour.
