About the Couple
Bride: Jennifer MacInnis
Groom: Danny Mombourquette
How they met: The couple met while at the gym. “We would always be there at the same time every evening. We never spoke, and we had no idea that we were admiring each other from afar until a mutual friend let it slip!” explains Jennifer. “After that we had a little awkward stage where we both knew that we had a crush on the other but Danny’s great sense of humour eased that tension and we soon started dating,” Jennifer concludes.
Engagement story: “Danny drove us to Peggy’s Cove at sunset where we had also gone for our first date,” shares Jennifer. “It started to pour rain as we got there but we still got out of the car and went for a walk on the rocks. Soon after, he got me to turn my head to look at something ‘that was in the water,’ I turned back around and he was on one knee with the ring. Of course, I said yes!” smiles Jennifer.
