About the Couple
Bride: Marianne Wisenthal
Groom: Jodie Davis
How they met: “Marianne was working for Global TV in Montreal and I for ET Canada in Toronto. ET Canada’s Quebec correspondent, Natasha Gargiulo, was on email with me one day and asked if I was single. When I said I was, she offered to set me up with her colleague, ‘a hot producer called Marianne’. After wooing Marianne over email for a few weeks, I made up an excuse to go to Montreal to visit her – and we ended up spending the whole weekend together,” Jodie recalls.
Engagement Story: “The May long weekend of 2006 was when we decided we were officially an item. After dating for three years, on that same long weekend, I surprised Marianne with two tickets to see Leonard Cohen in New York City (she is named after one of his songs).  After the concert at Radio City Music Hall, we returned to the Thompson LES hotel where I got down on one knee with a diamond.”

I am stepaunt to the Groom. I know for a fact it was a great wedding. The girls in the bridal party looked lovely, all dressed differently and the guys looked great also. The weather was fantastic for the day as prearranged. The setting was very unique and gave us a chance to enjoy the flavour of Toronto. Family and friends enjoyed themselves very much. They had everything planned including the evening before the wedding. I think everything went like clockwork, at least it sure seemed that way for us. Everyone and everything was in the pink of things. Just so they have it in print Uncle Brian & Aunt Pat felt honoured to be included in their day. A day that the Bride and Groom will remember for the rest of their lives.

I am the grooms mother. I know this was most wonderful day for me, watching my son get married to very beautiful and wonderful lady. They are very well matched and I could not have asked for a better daughter in-law. She is wonderful. The girls in the bridal party looked lovely, all dressed differently and the guys looked great also. Bride was beautiful in her gown and the groom very handsome in his suit and pink shirt and tie. Loved the setting of wedding in the garden. The arrangement, and all the planning, music, dinner, and dance where very well done. We all had a great time, the guest all seem to have fun. It will be a day I will remember the rest of my life. A day that the Bride and Groom will remember for the rest of their lives. Would like to thank all guest who came and made this day very special day for my Son and his lovely bride- God bless you all.

I was (and always am) such a proud big sister. My baby brother and his beautiful wife put alot of thought and effort into planning an amazing event. Love, Love, Loved the pink as did my son, who was feeling pretty cool carrying the ring down the isle in his monogramed pink converse hightop sneakers that Marianne ordered especially for him and his uncle Jodie's pink tie. The entire event was beautify, tasteful and in no way common...which is exactly as it should be for two people who fit the same description.
