How they met: “We met at Rob’s company Christmas party. My sister worked with Rob, and she brought me as a date for him because he didn't have one.”
Fave date: “Rob took me to the River Café in Calgary on Valentine’s Day. It is in the middle of a park, and you have to walk quite away to get there. It was so romantic because the trees were all frosted and it was a perfect night.”
What attracted her to him: His sense of humour.
What attracted him to her: Her beauty.
Engagement story: “Rob was going to take me to Canmore and propose there, but our plans fell through so we woke up that morning and while I was in the shower he put the ring under the bed. When I came out he popped the question! It was so us.”

Her best moment: “The ceremony. It was so personalized by our deacon. He is a friend of the family so he spoke a lot about our families and us. I also loved being able to dance and knowing that I was married to Rob.”
His best moment: “Seeing Courtney walk down the aisle—she looked so beautiful.”
What they would have done differently: “We would have spent more time talking to our guests at the reception.”
Advice to others: “Stop every hour or so on your wedding day and remind yourself to enjoy it and soak it all in because it goes by way too fast. Just enjoy it and don’t stress.”
Wedding song: “Here and Now” by Luther Vandross. “We love every word of that song, and it was so perfect.”
Fave wedding gift: Honeymoon to Italy.
Most unexpected moment: “Our reception venue was right at the airport so we went across the street and took some pictures there.”
