How they met: The couple met through mutual friends during university.
Engagement story: “We decided that we needed a weekend away, so Brad was planning a surprise getaway,” explains Brittany. “The destination was carefully hidden until arriving at the gate at the airport…Paris! We arrived in Paris in the early morning Saturday and after a quick rest we toured the city by foot. After we had dinner we made our way back to the hotel but Brad wanted to stop on a bridge for a rest. We sat down and Brad asked if I would ever forget this trip. I, of course, said no; then he got down on one knee and asked if I would ever forget this and presented me with the ring. It was an incredibly romantic time under the street lamp and moonlight that I will truly never forget,” reminisces Brittany. “I should also probably mention that I hate flying and when Brad told me I would have to bring my passport on our secret trip I almost didn’t go. His mom even had her bags packed to take my place, but after a lot of coaxing by my family, who were in on the surprise I decided to suck it up and go,” Brittany recalls with a smile.

Brittany and Brad, you both radiated love and warmth at your wedding, a feeling shared by those in attendance. Brad was tested by the wait on the alter for Brittany's entrance, and he passed the test without question. The couple's parents, family and friends shared an unforgettable experience as Brad and Brittany begin their life's journey into marriage with the dreams, hopes and heartaches that will forever bind them as a family.
