Day 13: A Fond Farewell
It’s our last day…sniff…so we’re making the most of it. We hiked to Pu’u Pehe (a.k.a. Sweetheart Rock). It stands 24 metres (80 feet) high and is absolutely breathtaking. It seems we weren’t the only ones taking in this natural wonder—Jeremy Irons and Helen Mirren were on island shooting The Tempest at this location! We actually saw Helen in the lobby of our hotel, and she looked relaxed and absolutely gorgeous. Hawaii has that effect on you. For our last night, it was all about pictures, patio lounging and soaking it all in. This trip was definitely our dream honeymoon, and I recommend it to anyone looking to rest and relax in one of the most gorgeous places on earth. A special thanks to everyone who made our trip so memorable—the people in Maui and Lanai are amazing, and they are a major part of the reason these amazing islands are so charming and beautiful.

This article was great! My future hubby and I are getting married in August and we were already thinking of Hawaii for our honeymoon, and this article is just another reason to make it happen! Rest, relaxation, sun, sand, dolphins, snorkeling, spa... These are all the things we are looking for! Thank you so much!
