Thanks to their high-profile careers, Amanda Blakley, co-founder of The Society (a “culture club for the creative class”), and Adam Moffat, a PR manager, know all about being in the limelight. But, when it came to their big day, the social duo kept things low-key. “Having gotten engaged in N.Y.C., it was a nice tie-in to host the ceremony in New York,” Amanda says. Joined by 60 guests, the pair chose Beaverkill Valley Inn in Catskill, New York. Friday started off casually as Adam’s family hosted a pizza and beer night. The next day, guests awoke to a country breakfast followed by a mountain hike and picnic. At sunset everyone gathered back at the Inn for the wedding. “We had a post-ceremony cocktail party and then shuffled back to the clubhouse for dinner,” Amanda says. Taking advantage of the scenery, the pair ended their day on a sweet note. “We set up a firepit and s’mores station outside and a midnight dessert bar with all our faves,” Amanda smiles.
