About the Couple
Bride: Yendi Pang
Groom: Patrick Ha
Occupations: Yendi is an online marketing professional and Patrick is a home automation designer
How they met: At a late-night party.
Fave date: Every date before they were married was a favourite. If they had to chose, probably the time when they both grabbed a map and jumped into a rental car and ventured to Niagara Falls. They can’t remember how many times they got lost, but it was an adventure for both of them.
What attracted him to her: His charisma.
What attracted her to him: Her beauty.
Engagement story: It was Valentine’s Day and Yendi was living in Santa Barbara, California. Patrick went down to surprise her with a Valentine’s Day proposal. After dinner, he brought her to the beach under the false pretense they were celebrating Valentine’s Day. Yendi was wearing a promise ring Patrick had given her when they first started dating. While eating desserts, Patrick asked Yendi, “How long have you been wearing this ring?” As Yendi silently calculated the years in her head, Pat pulled out the engagement ring remarking, “I think it’s time you change it”. Yendi couldn’t stop laughing because she was so happy and of course said “yes.”
Words they live by: Forget yesterday, live today and dream tomorrow.
