The invitations must go out—but are you feeling guilty for using so much paper? Opt for an eco-friendly supplier who will do the same exquisite job while putting a smaller strain on the environment. Creations by Botanical Paperworks (botanicalpaperworks.com) allow your guests to plant the favours, confetti or place cards. Afterwards flowers spring from the potted paper! You could also buy rice, cotton or recycled paper and order customized stamps (Try: Barbara Kua Calligraphy, barbarakua.com) for all your stationery needs.
Expert Tips: Using an FSC-certified printer ensures the vegetable-based ink uses less chemicals and the paper comes from trees grown in a sustainable environment. Less is better, so print the RSVP information on the bottom of your invitation to eliminate extra paper waste and shipping.
