About the Couple
Bride: Jasmine Lambert
Groom: Brody Jarvis
How they met: In Grade 8 in their homeroom class. “Brody had a big crush on me and I didn’t even know he existed. On Valentine’s Day 2001, he approached me with a dozen roses and a teddy bear asking if I would go out with him,” Jasmine reminisces.
Engagement story: “Brody proposed at Beban Park in Nanaimo, British Columbia. We went for a walk and I thought it was odd that he suggested I bring my camera. Later on, after taking tons of scenic photos, Brody suggested we walk out onto a rock that is right above a waterfall. I walked over, and he got down on one knee and said a bunch of sweet and amazing things. I responded by asking, ‘Did you ask my grandpa?’ When he said that he did, I said ‘yes!’ The ring felt so heavy. It was beautiful, sparkly and more than I imagined. We then took lots of photos of the location, the ring and ourselves. I wanted the moment to be perfectly documented!” Jasmine recalls with a laugh.

Hi, I'm Brody's mom. I've watched as Brody and Jazzy became friends, then sole mates. They have always been so cute together. Their wedding was so beautiful and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful daughter-in-law. All a mother wants is for her children to have all their dreams come true and I see it all happening for my son. Life can be hard sometimes but if you have that special someone there to help you through the rough spots it makes it a lot easier.

I feel honoured to have been at this wedding. I have known Jasmine and Brody from almost from the beginning of their love story. Two amazing people that deserve each other in every way. Congrats again Jasmine and Brody.. I can't believe it's been a year already!
