ITALY
“Italy is going to be especially hot for 2011, as the country is celebrating 150 years of being united. We love Italy because there are so many beautiful and romantic places to take your honeymoon. One of our favourite areas is Lake Como, a destination for the rich and famous since Roman times. The lake is considered to be the most beautiful in all of Italy. Check yourselves into the Villa d’Este (villadeste.com), which is widely regarded as one of the best hotels in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure and Forbes Traveler thanks to the beautiful gardens, exquisite cuisine and extraordinary service. Overlooking the pristine lake, each of the 152 rooms is outfitted in period furniture, oil paintings and silk brocade drapes. We’re also big fans of the on-site wellness centre—perfect for relaxation pour deux.” —Stephanie Gray, Online Editor

Italy has always been a place that I would like to visit especially Venice. The food, the wine, and the picturesque landscapes. The cost however has always been a factor in why it is a dream and not a reality.
