How they met: “My best friend Jennifer was fairly recently single, so we were having one of those nights out on the town and ended up bar hopping, which lead us to meet a group of lads at the Cloak & Dagger pub,” says Juli. “I gravitated to John immediately, but for various reasons it wasn’t the right time for us. Meanwhile, Jennifer and her match continued to date while I headed off to Iceland for a few weeks. In the fall, Jennifer ended up hanging out with John and he immediately asked where I was. I met up with them and we started dating soon after. Jennifer and Taylor were married in October 2010, and we followed suit not too long after!” she says with a smile.
Engagement story: “Our best dates are going for brunch, which seems to happen multiple times a week. Good coffee, food and a cozy atmosphere seem to bring about great conversation, which inevitably leads to big plans being hatched,” Juli shares, so it was no surprise how John decided to pop the question. “It was a low-key day of brunching and wandering. John proposed in the morning just after brunch so that we could enjoy the day”
