About the Couple
Bride: Jenna MacNeil
Groom: Alex Morton
How they met: “We met in 1995 when we both attended Shad Valley, a summer camp for senior high school students. We were ‘married’ at camp after getting caught after curfew together! We went our separate ways until a few years ago when Jenna was working on a contract in Alex’s hometown,” the couple shares.
Engagement story: “I hinted that July 31, 2010 would be a wonderful date. I thought Alex agreed—and might have told some friends to keep the date free long before he officially asked! That happened the day we bought our first home. Standing at the end of the driveway, Alex asked if one day the mailbox might say ‘The Mortons’,” Jenna recalls.
