About the Couple
Bride: Wendy Saschenbrecker
Groom: Godfrey Tang
Occupations: Wendy and Godfrey are both policy analysts for the federal government.
How they met: In French language training for the government.
Fave date: Wendy and Godfrey went to China for the 2008 Olympics. Wendy was competing as part of the Canadian National Women’s Fencing Team, and Godfrey was there to support her. Afterwards they travelled around China for several weeks by train.
What attracted her to him: “Godfrey is the opposite of me in temperament—tender, sweet and calm.”
What attracted him to her: Wendy’s vibrant, competitive spirit.
Engagement story: Godfrey surprised Wendy before a dinner with their two families, and then they celebrated as one big happy family.

I'm sooooooooooo impressed by the pictures, but most of all by the fact that I knew both of you through the MTP without knowing that you were engaged and getting married! 2 very brilliant individuals ; 2 "warriors" from the Sweat Lodge, and both so energetic, enthousiastic and lovable persons!
