About the Couple
Bride: Tamzin Gillis
Groom: Ryan MacDonald
How they met: Ryan and Tamzin met while attending law school at the University of New Brunswick. While they met in first year and quickly became friends, it wasn’t until second year that their relationship developed into more than just friendship.
Engagement story: Although Ryan had initially intended to propose to Tamzin while the duo enjoyed a relaxing Caribbean cruise, he changed his mind when he realized that the best proposal would be one that was closer to home. “He decided to propose in Cape Breton so that I could share the news with family and friends in person. So, Ryan proposed to me at my family home in Baddeck, Cape Breton while we were visiting with my parents for the long weekend,” Tamzin explains.
