Fate played a hand in the way that Hilary Goss and Dane Jensen met. Both attended Queen’s University but never crossed paths until they went on an exchange to Herstmonceux Castle in England. “We ended up living across the hall from each other for three months, in a castle, moat and all, and the rest is history,” Hilary recalls. Years later, the twosome took their relationship to the next level by tying the knot at the Blessed Sacrament Church. Wearing an exquisite Vera Wang gown, Hilary, alongside her Dad, started the ceremony on a high note. My best moment was walking down the aisle with my father, past our guests, and seeing Dane at the end,” Hilary explains. Unbeknownst to both at the time, Dane’s best moment occurred simultaneously. “Seeing her for the first time at church made my day,” Dane confirms. Keeping their romantic theme, the couple chose the Granite Club to continue their celebration. “We entered the room to ‘Wake Up’ by The Arcade Fire, had our first dance to ‘First Day of My Life’ by Bright Eyes, and enjoyed a great slideshow put together by the best man,” the pair reminisces.
