I love the Breville Steamer - what a fabulous registry idea. I wounder if it comes with a recipe book to give me some ideas on what to make with it? I like how its layered so that you can put various items into it and infuse the other layers with juices from the top layers - veggies, rice and salmon anyone?
I own a Cuisinart Gridder that we got for our wedding - I can't say enough about it - so versatile... from grilling veggies, hamburgers, kabobs and chicken breasts to making pancakes, bacon, sausages, and great panini sandwiches. This one is a piece you keep on your counter top as you'll be using it all the time. My fav - gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
I totally agree with Catherine - the right appliances do help to make great meals and shes got a wonderful list for any registry and health conscious bride-to-be or newly wed.
