Bride: Courtney Boudreau
Groom: Mark McNeil
Occupations: Mark is a marine underwriter and Courtney is a registered massage therapist.
How they met: “We ended up living together before we dated,” says Courtney. “Mark is good friends with my sister’s ex and they were all living together. I needed a place to live and moved in with my sister. It was great because we knew each other from a roommate’s perspective before we were in a relationship.”
Favourite date: April 15, 2009
What attracted her to him: His good looks. “Once I got to know him his sense of humour is what stole my heart. No matter what he always makes me smile and laugh.”
What attracted him to her: How beautiful she is. “I soon got to know Courtney and came to the realization that she could actually be the one. She is a kind, smart, caring, down-to-earth girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
Engagement story: “Mark’s job took him to different locations across Canada so we ended up moving around together. After the first couple of moves we decided that we wanted to get married. He still proposed but I knew it was coming—in fact, I picked out the ring with him.”

As parents, our dreams for Courtney began to unfold on this incredible day in Mexico. The happiness and love that shawn in both of their eyes made us realize our job as parents was complete and their lives as husband and wife would just begin. If we had a chance to chose any many in the world for Courtney, Mark would still be that man. They bring out the very best in each other and we are so proud of them both.
