Favourite date: A summer spent on a secluded beach which few people knew about.
What attracted her to him: His attention to detail.
What attracted him to her: Her exuberant personality.
Engagement story: Marc took Emilie for a walk along their favourite beach one morning. While Emilie was setting up the camera self-timer for a picture by the water, Marc secretly took the ring out of his jacket and proposed to her just as the camera took the picture.

Her best moment: Walking down the aisle.
His best moment: Watching Emilie walk down the aisle.
What they would have done differently: Hire a videographer.
Advice they would give to other couples getting married: Listen to yourself, not others. It is your day.
Wedding song: "Bed of Roses" by Bon Jovi. Marc had organised a romantic evening with rose petals everywhere while this song played in the background. Emilie never forgot it.
The day in three words: Fun. Scary. Memorable.
Favourite wedding gift: All of them. Everyone was very generous.
Most unexpected moment: Marc standing in front of everyone for three loops through the opening song, after a miscommunication between the bridal party and the event planner on the arrival time.

Best surprise of the day: The rain clearing just before the ceremony began. And the surprise dance tribute to the Napoleon Dynamite film by one of the bridesmaids.
Honeymoon: Dominican Republic.
Favourite wedding details: Invitations and bridesmaids’ bouquets.
What made her day: That all the guests enjoyed themselves, and acknowledged all the hard work that went into the planning and decorating.
What made his day: That he managed to get through the choreographed wedding dance without stumbling or missing a step.
