Their best moment: “The reception,” says Leslie. “Enjoying some good food, good wine and lots of laughs with my new husband and our family and friends.”
Wedding song: “Stand By Me”. “It was our first dance because it was the only song I could get him to agree to!” admits Leslie.
Favourite wedding detail: “The food was excellent and the dessert buffet was a huge hit!” says the couple. “ I had fun thinking up the reception décor and tried to keep it simple, but fun,” adds Leslie.
Advice to others: “Don’t try too hard to please everyone else, but stay true to your vision- it’s your day!” urges the couple. “Give yourself a lot of time to really think about what you want your day and your honeymoon to be and ask for help from family and friends. Try to create a relaxing atmosphere for yourself that last couple of days before the wedding!”
Most unexpected moment: “The beautiful and funny letter written by our friend Hannah, who introduced us to each other,” they say with a smile. “Hannah was also getting married that weekend…in Malaysia! Her letter, read by my maid of honor Emily, elicited both laughter and tears.”
Day in 3 words: Hectic, exciting and filled with love
Honeymoon: A week in PEI. “Though the weather did not cooperate for much beach time, we made the most of it exploring the island,” says Leslie.

Luke and Leslie's wedding was one of the best weddings I have ever attended. The "country charm" was eloquent. They truely compliment each other.It was a priviledge to be part of their special day.
