Why We Love it: The royal wedding was definitely one watched by many. Two thousand guests, and an estimated television audience of 500 million worldwide, watched the ceremony, which was held at Westminster Abbey. The streets of London were also lined with people hoping to get a glimpse of the royal couple.

Location: Los Angeles, California
Why We Love it: This long-time Hollywood couple met on the set of Tom’s television show Bosom Buddies. During their wedding reception they had Greek dancing performed by Takis Kokotas.
Did you know? It was Tom Hanks’ second marriage.
