Bride: Shelly Bolotin
Groom: Ben Zifkin
Occupations: Shelly is a microbiologist and Ben works as a technology consultant.
How they met: They went to elementary school together. Shelly had a crush on Ben in the 8th grade. Thirteen years later they were reunited.
Favourite date: “A nice dinner together.”
First thing that attracted her to him: “His kindness and attentiveness.”
First thing that attracted him to her: “Her intelligence, ambition and huge smile.”
Engagement story: Ben organized a trip to Prague, and Shelly tagged along. She thought Ben had to go for business. They spent the afternoon in a secluded meadow near Petrin Hill. Ben proposed to Shelly there and revealed that there was no reason for the trip, other than surprising her.
The couple’s philosophy on life: “There isn’t anything that the two of us cannot overcome together. We make an amazing team.”
