Now that you have your dream dress, it’s time to find the perfect hairstyle to complete your look! The perfect hairstyle will not only complement your dress and overall look, but your face shape as well. Once you identify what goes best with your natural shape, you’ll be armed with newfound knowledge to find your perfect wedding-day look.
Which face shape are you?
Oval: Regarded as the most versatile and common face shape. An oval face has wider cheekbones and then narrows down to the jaw line and chin. The length of your face is longer than the width of your face, usually around one-and-a-half times.
If you’re an oval-faced bride, you’re in luck! Nearly any style you choose will work with your face shape. Keep in mind not to opt for a style that is too short and curly, and try to avoid heavy-set bangs.
Hairstyles to try: Experiment! You have the luxury to try pretty much any style you see, from long beach waves to a sexy textured bob. Just try not to let too much hair fall in front of your face; you don’t want to hide that gorgeous shape! Look to Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba for inspiration.
