Boston may not be the first destination that comes to mind when you think of your honeymoon, but you'd be surprised just how fantastic this quaint city is. Endless historic sites, a rich cultural scene, mouth-watering cuisine and plenty of shopping destinations make Boston a perfect place to visit post-wedding. Here’s a roundup of where to stay and dine, and what to do while there.

• Don’t miss out on the hotel’s restaurant The Bristol Lounge. The menu is packed with delectable seafood (including the must-try Raw Bar), but their award-winning dish is The Bristol Burger, which won Best Burger in Boston at the All Star Burger Bash in 2010. Sweets lovers must try the Viennese Dessert Buffet, every Friday and Saturday, which is accompanied by live jazz music.
