How they met: Karen’s cousin, Adrienne, introduced them.
Favourite date: Karen’s was a picnic on the beach, while Joe’s was go-kart racing.
First thing that attracted her to him: “His humour, laid-back personality and goofiness.”
First thing that attracted him to her: “Her humour, blunt personality and voluptuous lips.”
Engagement story: Joe proposed on February 29, 2008. He attempted to use Karen’s dog as a delivery dog. He tied a stargazer lily and a ring box to Momo’s collar, but the dog wouldn’t co-operate. She kept running the wrong way!
