Where
Only a one-hour flight from Miami, Turks and Caicos can be found at the corner of the Caribbean, north of Cuba. Composed of 40 islands and cays, only eight of those are actually inhabited, while most of the action can be found on the mainland: Providenciales, or Provo as the locals call it. There you'll find some of the best beaches in the world, as repeatedly ranked by Condé Nast Traveller, including the well-known 25 km Grace Bay beach, where you'll find the majority of hotels and resorts.
When
It's sunny year-round in this beautiful country, so good weather is pretty much a guarantee, however hurricane season runs from June to October, and a lot of restaurants and hotels close in September, so things do quiet down. However, you'll never have to worry about packed beaches or long lineups thanks to the sophisticated clientele that tends to venture here. Hollywood celebs like Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria-Parker and Bruce Willis have all visited this secluded spot.
What
Due to the extensive coral reef system that surrounds Turks and Caicos, you'll find some of the best diving in the world. Much of the reef is very close to land, allowing you to dive right off the beach. For those who'd rather not explore under the sea, consider booking a sunset cruise, sailing or even waterskiing. One must-do is booking a romantic island retreat. Silver Deep (silverdeep.com) can arrange all the necessaries like transportation, food and beach gear leaving you and you mister to enjoy a truly private getaway.

It's currently the only resort that boasts a beachfront, open-air restaurant, and its Infiniti bar is also the longest in the Caribbean. When it comes to the details of your actual wedding their knowledgeable on-site wedding planners can help make your dream a reality.
Dine
If you're looking for some local flavour consider incorporating the conch into your wedding menu. The conch is farmed here and shipped to top chefs all over the world. For a pre-wedding taste, head over to the famous Da Conch Shack: locals say it's the best place to taste this sea delicacy. For an intimate indoor wedding reception, try the sleek, white, modern O'Soleil at The Somerset (thesomerset.com), led by Canadian head chef Lauren Callighen. Your guests will experience mouth-watering cuisine with a global influence.
