We know how hard it can be to express your sincere gratitude to everyone who’s helped make your wedding day a reality—especially the younger members (i.e. flower girl and ring bearer). To help you say thanks, Diane Fawcett, a former bride herself, created a card company called Shakespeare’s Bride (shakespearesbride.com) featuring meaningful thank-you cards that really hit home. “When it came time to thank everyone, a simple thank you just didn’t seem like enough,” Diane expresses. “I saw card after card with the words ‘Thank You’ on the front, but otherwise they were blank inside. I wanted a greeting card company that creates cards to celebrate those who make your wedding day so special. I thought to myself if I ever start a business this is what it’s going to be, and so here I am.” Quirky, witty and straight to the point, some of our fave cards include this flower girl item that reads: “You’re the only person allowed to look as pretty as the Bride. Thank you so much!” When asked about the name behind the shop, Diana explains, “Oh, why Shakespeare? Well we all know he had a way with words…but really is there anything more like a Shakespearean play than a wedding? Epic love, crazy relatives, high drama and a whole lot of comedy.”
