While you’re trudging through the snow drifts in your trusty winter boots, sandals and peep-toe pumps may seem like a distant mirage. But rest assured, there’s an abundance of stylish spring and summer shoes awaiting you when the frost thaws, so if you’re planning a warm weather ceremony, start thinking ahead! At a recent event held by Browns shoes, WB had the opportunity to peruse the best of spring footwear, featuring fashionable offerings from some of our favourite labels including Manolo Blahnik, Rafe, Stuart Weitzman (pictured) and Marc by Marc Jacobs. What styles in particular caught our eye? We were especially fond of a pair of bejewelled lavender pumps by Manolo and some delicate beaded sandals by Rafe—perfect for a destination wedding. Overall, some of the big trends for spring include glamorous metallics, updated gladiator sandals, exotic skins (such as python) and natural materials (think cork and raffia). So whether you’re planning a slick urban ceremony, or casual beachside “I dos,” there’s bound to be a perfect pair for you!
