Khoury also says the scent you choose to wear should be one you have spent a lot of time and energy selecting. “Your wedding day is a long day, so you want to make sure your fragrance is one you love wearing, one that expresses the love and happiness of the day.” One such fragrance that Khoury believes perfectly captures the mood of any woman’s wedding day is Estée Lauder’s newest introduction Beautiful Love, a twist on the company's best-selling Beautiful floral fragrance. According to Khoury, “Beautiful Love was inspired by the voluptuous florals in the original classic Beautiful, but the notes were adapted to leave a creamier, more sensuous impression.”
The fragrance does this through a complex blend of notes which includes everything from pomelo zest to cantaloupe, white freesia, magnolia, tuberose and jasmine absolute, black violet, white orris, vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli (just to name a few!). Khoury believes it is the ideal scent for brides because that is the moment in a woman’s life the Estée Lauder team focused on when creating the scent (that fact is conveyed in the Beautiful Love campaign which features Canadian model Anja Rubik as the “Beautiful” bride). “The philosophy behind Beautiful Love is that it was created to reflect the moment you commit to another and that love which is deepened over time,” Khoury explains.
Beautiful Love is available at all Estee Lauder counters and comes in three eau de parfum sprays (30ml, 75ml and 100ml) retailing for $55 and up.
