Your big day may be all about you, but it’s important to remember the people who’ve assisted you along the way—specifically your parents and future in-laws. And if they’ve helped you with your wedding day budget, they definitely deserve much more than a thank-you note. Here are three easy ways to show your gratitude without blowing your budget.
Home Meal
If either you or your mister is a great cook, consider whipping up a gourmet meal for your parents or in-laws. Or better yet, order some takeout from your fave restaurant and invite them over. They will appreciate the gesture and will value the quality time you’re spending with them.
DIY Food Basket
The gourmet baskets you find at stores can often be pricey and may not hold much appeal. Customize a gift basket by heading to your closest supermarket and stocking it with fresh fruit and baked goodies.
Photo Fun
Peruse your wedding-day photos and find one with you and your parents or in-laws. When you’ve found the perfect picture, have it enlarged and present it to them in a pretty picture frame.
