It may be your day, your way, but you want your best girls to look terrific, too! Luckily, there are lots of great things happening in bridesmaids’ fashion. Here are some of our favourite trends of the moment:
Building Blocks
Instead of choosing a solid colour, why not dress your maids in a style that incorporates several shades? Colour blocking is a huge trend for spring, and it’s easy to see why. We love how this adorable frock by Watters (pictured) features neutral tones with a pop of colour. We’re also big fans of its sixties styling and super-flattering waist detail.
Playful Patterns
Another great alternative to a solid shade is a fun-loving patterned material. Floral prints are hugely popular for spring, and they’d be a perfect pick for an outdoor wedding. Polka dots are also a terrific option, and lend a feeling of retro glamour to your girls’ ensembles.
Haute Hues
And for those of you that are set on a solid colour for your girls, here are some fun options you might not have considered. We’re especially fond of little navy dresses right now. Dark blue has a sense of formality, but feels like a fresh alternative to black. Light grey or silver is also a fabulous neutral that goes with everything.
