A new craze has been gracefully sweeping the wedding scene—or at least capturing it on film in the form of instant photographs. In light of new technologies, you can now print instant pictures at your wedding and send guests home with a personal memento (kind of like the old Polaroid camera booths of the '80s). Sound like a fun idea for your wedding? It’s a lot easier than you think. All you have to do is set up a printing station at your reception where guests with digital cameras can print their pictures and write personalized messages to the two of you. Justin Lam, Marketing Manager for Canon Camera (who also had instant photos at his own wedding) says that all you need is a USB plug, a built-in memory card slot and a Selphy printer from Canon. Voila – you’ll have photo-lab quality prints in merely 60 seconds. The best part? When your wedding’s over, you’ll be left with a box of candid photos of your guests having a great time.
