Dreaming of an intimate winter wedding? Wrap yourself in an elegant faux-fur stole and say “I do” in a winter wonderland that you and your beau will remember forever.
Every year, Quebec’s Ice Hotel, made entirely of ice, receives more than 70,000 visitors and 4,000 overnight stays making it one of North America’s most luxurious winter getaways.
Built using 15,000 tonnes of snow and 500 tonnes of ice, the hotel offers an unparalleled winter experience. Inside the hotel’s solid ice walls, you’ll find 32,000 sq. ft of space featuring 36 rooms and themed suites representing Quebec City’s 400th anniversary.
Throughout the glacial palace, you’ll also find an ice bar (that serves cocktails on the rocks – literally serving them in ice glasses) and the N’Ice Club (which can host up to 500 people). The site also features hot tubs, fireplaces, solid ice furniture and unique ice candelabras hanging from 19 ft. high solid ice ceilings.
Open from January 4 through April 1, the hotel offers many hassle-free luxury wedding packages to help you create the winter fairy tale of your dreams. This majestic decor will set the mood for a romantic event and snow-white atmosphere will make you feel like a real-life ice princess. In fact, since it’s first creation eight winters ago, the hotel has welcomed more than 150 couples from all around the world. Exchange your vows in the hotel’s on-site chapel which can seat up to 80 people and is made entirely of snow and ice and celebrate afterwards with a romantic sleigh ride through the woods on a lit pathway.
