Honeymoon Registry

If you’re looking for an alternative to a traditional registry, consider registering for your honeymoon. By Stephanie Gray

Our recent Reader Survey revealed that 75 percent of you are already living with your mister. That means you’re already stocked with a lot of household and kitchen essentials. If your traditional registry isn’t brimming with must-haves, consider registering for your honeymoon. Your friends and family will be happy to know they’re putting money towards something you’re going to truly enjoy! One Canadian site to consider is Honeymoon-Registry.ca. All you have to do is create a free online account and select from pre-set items, custom gifts (like a day at the spa), or Air Miles to be used for your flight. You won’t be charged a set-up fee and the administrative fee is only three percent. The site operates using PayPal, so it’s easy for your guests to make a payment.

Thank you for mentioning the benefits of a honeymoon registry and describing the attributes behind this increasingly mainstream registry option for engaged couples.

It is great to see how popular the honeymoon registry is becoming. When Traveler's Joy first started accepting Members over five years ago, we realized there were a large number of engaged couples that were not satisfied with the diversity of the traditional wedding registry market. Since then, the honeymoon registry has become a mainstream option for brides and grooms and the industry has experienced significant growth.

We are proud to have helped tens of thousands of couples honeymoon at destinations they may never have considered - a great feeling for everyone at Traveler's Joy.

I encourage you to contact us with any questions about our service. Most importantly, enjoy your honeymoon!

Best Regards,

I have decided to registry with Honeymoon-Registry.ca after reading your article.

I checked out the registry mentioned above but they are based in the US and therefore all the gifts are charged and collected in US$.

They also charge a 7.5% service compared to 3% at Honeymoon-Registry.ca (the lowest I could find).
