Well, the most popular destinations are still holding strong—think Tahiti, Hawaii, the Caribbean and Paris. However, today you're more open to visiting exotic locales and rethinking the way you travel.

Today, couples tend to have had more life experiences before getting married, meaning they've seen a lot of the world and are looking for something more exotic or luxurious when it comes to the honeymoon. Did you already visit Europe after finishing school? This time around you want to dine at five-star restaurants and sleep in an upscale boutique hotel. Maybe you've already been to a handful of all-inclusives in the Caribbean, so this time you want to lay on a beach on the other side of the world.
Whatever that dream trip is, you're going to do it because your honeymoon is a great excuse to go all out. Now that you can even register for experiences (not just stuff), your friends and family can also contribute to that trip of a lifetime. So whether it's two weeks exploring Japan, skiing in the Alps or catching rays in Fiji, it's completely possible to visit that perfect place.
