If you’re having an outdoor ceremony or reception, you may find yourself limited to certain decor options. Rather than pitching a white tent, take advantage of the great outdoors and have an open-concept venue. For an ultra-romantic vibe, surround your area with candlelit tables and hanging lanterns. To brighten the mood, choose brightly coloured candles and lanterns (easily found at home decor stores like Pottery Barn!). Tip: if you’re tying the knot in an area that doesn’t have a lot of trees for hanging lanterns (like a beach), opt for standing tiki torches—the perfect decor pieces for those of you aiming for an island look.
