Make your wedding memorable and allow guests to leave their blessing in a fun and unique way.
Ready, Set, Action
Instead of having guests sign a traditional guest book, have them greet you via video. Hire a videographer and let guests tape a live message to you at the reception.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Let guests offer their best wishes through personal cards. Buy a stack of blank cards and have somebody hand them out as the guests enter your reception. Don’t forget to have writing utensils available. Leave a decorated basket at the back of the room for guests to deliver their messages.
Blow It Up
Before everyone enters the reception room have them sign their names and leave a quick message on a white board. Place a photo of you and your new mister in the middle and have your guests sign around. If you have a lot of guests, consider two large signing boards. After the wedding, frame the boards and display them at home. The comments and photos are a nice reminder of your special day.
Picture This
Remember Polaroid cameras? Well, now would be the perfect time to whip them back out. Assign someone (they don’t need to be a professional photographer) to take photos of your guests as they enter the hall. Have a crafty scrapbook nearby where your guests can post their pictures and leave a sweet message next to it.
Traditional Sense
Have your guests sign a traditional guest book. If you’re a DIY bride, head to the nearest craft store in your area, purchase a scrapbook and decorate it as you wish. If you’re not the most creative person in the world, check out a local bookstore or art shop – they’re sure to have plenty available.
