In the Genes

Introduce your guests to each other with help from this wedding genealogy chart. By Roseanne Dela Rosa

Mélangerie (melangerienyc.com) has come up with a cool new concept for breaking the ice amongst guests—a family tree design. With one of their three wedding genealogy charts, guests can find out how each person in the room is somehow related to the bride and groom, be it through friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, etc. This wedding lineage chart (pictured left) is one of their more traditional designs, with the groom’s side printed on the right and the bride’s on the left. Other genealogy chart designs include a wedding tree and a more mod look showing six degrees of the bride and groom (both of which can be viewed on their website).
