Whether you’re moving into a new home, or looking to add some pizzazz to your current pad, paint is an easy and affordable way to transform a space. And with spring in the air, this is the perfect time to get inspired. Weddingbells sat down with the pros at Benjamin Moore to discuss the season’s hottest colours. According to Peggy Sheffield, public relations representative for Benjamin Moore, the current demand for all things “green” has extended to home decor. The result, says Sheffield, is a more natural colour palette for 2007. “Green, in its many shades and tones, blends harmoniously with natural wood grains, both light and dark, and other natural mineral and organic neutrals,” she says.
To try this look at home, Sheffield recommends the following shades of green:
Alligator Green, 2143-20
Clarksville Gray, HC-102
Split Pea, 2146-30
Lemon Grass, CC-638
Sheffield also notes that neutrals such as Delaware Putty, CC-230 and Danville Tan, HC-91 look great accented by trendy colours like Verdigris, CC-758 and Maple Syrup, CC-420.
