When it comes to comfortable, stylish bras, the pros at WonderBra know their stuff—2009 marks the company’s 70th anniversary. In honour of this very special occasion, Weddingbells recently had the chance to sit down with Raymonde Tranchemontagne, who has been designing for WonderBra for the past three decades. She offered the following advice for finding the best bra for your big day:

• get measured by a professional and determine your proper size for once and for all
• decide what type of bra you’re looking for: do you want a molded bra with fine foam cups or one that is lightly lined? Do you favour a push up style or a more natural silhouette?
• take two or three different styles into the changing room with you
• adjust the straps and fasten the hook on the middle setting
• place your breasts properly in the cups
• examine how the bra looks with your clothes on
• make sure the bra is not cutting into your décolleté
