If buttery croissants, fresh bagels and cream cheese, delicious muffins and sweet pastries sound like heaven to you, then you may consider switching up your traditional dinner for a menu filled with breakfast items. Nowadays, couples are slowly starting to retreat from the usual roast beef and mashed potatoes and opting for something more personalized, such as serving meat crepes and custom omelettes. You don’t have to have a luncheon reception to serve up your favourite meal of the day. If you’re worried about guests who aren’t too keen on breakfast food, simply ask your caterer to whip up something more substantial, such as eggs and ham or sausage and bacon. For dessert, include a fun table topped with fresh fruit parfaits, smoothies and granola bars. And for drinks, ask your reception venue to serve hot chocolate, lattes, espressos, coffee and tea.

What's funny is that my boyfriend and i met over breakfast so we decided that when we get married we will have a breakfast buffet because it's very personal to us, and would add that personal touch!
