Believe it or not, the hottest registry items of the moment are actually straight from the past. Many manufacturers have combed their archives for retired patterns that evoke a kinder, gentler era, or at the very least happy memories of time spent in grandma’s kitchen! For instance, in honour of Corningware’s 50th anniversary, they have re-launched their iconic Blue Cornflower Stove Top set, first released in the 1950s. These old favourites are durable and convenient (a meal can be prepared, served and stored all in one dish!)—a welcome addition to any home.
