Although all eyes will be on you, your eyes will be on your man! You’ve got the tux, but what about the accessories? From his cologne to the watch on his wrist, you want your guy to look  (and smell!) his best. Take a cue from our top five must-haves for your man.

Watch
For many men this is the only piece of jewellery they will ever wear. A classic Cartier or Rolex will last a lifetime. Plus it’ll be a sweet reminder of you every morning when he slips it on his wrist. 

Cologne
Scent is totally personal, so tell your man how you’d like him to smell by giving him a cologne you love! A few new favourites include Guerlain Homme ($75 for 50ml, available at department stores across Canada and Guerlain boutiques), which is intense and fresh; Dirty English by Juicy Couture ($52 for 50ml, available at department stores across Canada) for the man’s man; and Dior Homme Sport ($66 for 1.7 oz, available at Sephora), a spicy and woodsy scent for your modern mister.

Cufflinks
Not only are they something he can wear day-of, they can be personalized, too. Whether you choose to engrave them, have his initials cut out or go really funky, this accessory can be completely unique to your man.

Tie
Bright shades like pink and purple make a statement, while silver, navy and red offer a timeless charm. A pattern (think polka dots or stripes) can also add a splash of character, so consider incorporating something whimsical into your man’s attire. 

Belt
Investing in a good-quality leather belt is not only a good idea for the wedding—it will also be a useful accessory in his day-to-day wardrobe. His belt should match his shoes and the buckle should match his watch strap (i.e. A silver watch strap works well with a silver belt buckle). Keep this accessory on the classic side. It shouldn’t distract from the overall look.
