Beauty nutritionist and author Lisa Drayer shares just how to do that in her latest book, The Beauty Diet. Drayer offers a Top 10 list of “Beauty Foods” that will do everything from improve your skin and hair to encourage weight loss. According to Drayer, the Top 10 beauty foods are: wild salmon, yogourt (low-fat), oysters, blueberries, kiwi fruit, sweet potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, walnuts and dark chocolate. While knowing what to eat is one thing, preparing it is another, which is why she features a straightforward meal plan, including easy and delicious recipes that incorporate the Top 10 foods. A sample day includes a Strawberry Raspberry Yogourt Parfait for breakfast, Hummus and Grilled Vegetable Wrap for lunch and Asian Citrus Halibut with Brown Rice and Garlicky Wilted Spinach for dinner.
