Left heartbroken by ABC’s The Bachelor Brad Womack, who made reality show history as the only Bachelor not to choose anyone, DeAnna Pappas got her sweet revenge by turning the tables as The Bachelorette. Twenty-five men vied for her attention, but only two got to meet her parents and a chance to propose.
It came down to Jason Mesnick, a single divorced dad and Jesse Csincsak, a professional snowboarder. All signs pointed to Jason, so you knew she’d pick Jesse. It was a tearjerker of an engagement, as Csincsak got down on one knee with a stunning princess-cut diamond, after declaring his love for Pappas. Earlier in the show there was a clip of him crying while admitting his fear of being rejected.
After much heartache, Pappas finally gets her fairy-tale ending. Both believe they’ve found their soulmate. If we’re lucky, maybe there’ll be a TV wedding à la Trista and Ryan?
