Kate Middleton Revisits an Old Favourite for Zara’s Wedding

One of the many reasons we’re all in love with the Duchess of Cambridge? She recycles her wardrobe! Kate Middleton was spotted at Zara Phillips’ wedding on the weekend wearing an old favourite: a chic and sophisticated cream brocade coat. Kate wore the very same coat to the wedding of Lara Parker Bowles in 2006, but made it look new again by pairing it with a different hat—proof positive that you can completely transform an outfit with accessories. Another lesson to be learned from Kate: wedding guests should keep it classy and understated, so as not to take attention away from the bride. Do you have a wedding to attend (other than your own!)? Take a style cue from the Duchess, and wear a retro-inspired skirt suit like this one from Collection 20 by Watters.
