Current Obsession: Warm Colour Combo of Corals, Yellows, Greens and Blues

I know what you’re probably thinking, that’s a whole lot of shades. But, when done right this group of hues can be quite inviting and beautiful. My inspiration? Anthropologie’s Natural World Dessert Plates and Amazon Dream’s pitcher (pictured above). The warm colours and florally designs pull together beautifully. This just goes to show you can find wedding inspiration in practically anything! So, how does this translate into a wedding reception? I love the idea of incorporating this palette into your stationery, flowers, general decor, bridesmaid dresses and even beauty items. To get you started, here’s a few pretty ideas to consider for your special occasion.

Fashion designer extraordinaire Elie Saab is launching his very first fragrance this summer, and I’m attending an exclusive launch event at Toronto’s Hazelton Hotel this evening! To get myself in the mood, I thought I’d peruse some of his jaw-dropping couture creations—for Fall/Winter 2011—and they’re simply too pretty not to share!
