There have been more than a few major Royal Weddings in London before, but never has there been one as grand as William and Catherine’s. It’s estimated that two million people took to the streets to celebrate the newly anointed Duke and Duchess’ wedding day and being in the city to experience such history is something I will never forget. There were big screens set up EVERYWHERE so everyone could watch; there were street parties; there were people gathered from around the world, camping outside Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, some for as long as three days before the event! The energy was electric and the entire city was definitely in the mood for a fairytale romance, which is exactly what Catherine and William gave us and shared with the world on their grand, but yet very intimate wedding day.
